ECHA's Stakeholders' Day - specific support and guidance for SMEs and member registrants The Eighth Stakeholders' Day conference takes place in Helsinki on 26 March. It focuses specifically on SMEs, in particular member registrants, who are preparing for the 2013 REACH registration deadline. The deadline for registering is Tuesday 5 March. Participation is free of charge. The Stakeholders' Day is open to all but it is particularly relevant for those involved in REACH and CLP, industry associations, companies, public bodies, NGOs, third country representatives and the media. In this eighth event, special focus will be given to downstream users and 2013 registrants.

PRESS RELEASES REACH Evaluation Report 2012: Quality information required for REACH compliance 27 February 2013
The Evaluation Report 2012 shows that a large part of the examined registration dossiers still raise quality and subsequently compliance concerns. ECHA strongly encourages registrants, in particular if they are preparing registration dossiers for the second REACH registration deadline, to read the recommendations of the report and act accordingly. |

NEWS ALERTS SME size verification - reductions to the administrative charge 25 February 2013
Following the decision of ECHA Management Board the scale of administrative charges has been revised downwards. Additionally, from now on companies that correctly rectify their company size after being contacted by ECHA can benefit from a 50 per cent reduction of the applicable administrative charge under certain conditions. |

The ECHA webinar section has been restructured to make it more user-friendly and the information more easily accessible for interested visitors. ECHA has also completed recent maintenance work on the video recordings of the webinars and the recording links for 2012-2013 webinars are now back online.
