Register for the Seventh Stakeholders' Day

The registration form for the Agency's Seventh Stakeholders' Day conference is available on ECHA's website and will be open until 16 May 2012. The conference takes places in Helsinki on 23 May 2012 and gives participants the opportunity to hear the latest news and updates from ECHA, European trade associations and NGOs. The event is followed by the annual Helsinki Chemicals Forum from 24 to 25 May.

Updated Guidance on applying CLP Criteria

The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) has published an updated version of the Guidance on the Application of the CLP Criteria following the conclusion of the consultation process. In parallel, ECHA has released a report on a workshop concerning the validity of the concept of "rapid removal" for aquatic environmental long-term hazard classification of metals and inorganic metal compounds.
