Chemical safety report/Exposure scenario activities outlined for 2014-15

The second implementation plan for the CSR/ES roadmap sets out the priority actions for 2014-2015, the activities foreseen and lead organisations to achieve the Roadmap's objectives.

The main activities include improving the quality of information at the top of the supply chain and support to formulators who have immediate obligations under REACH. One focus is to improve the description of how substances are used along the supply chain and the information inputs required for the worker, environment and consumer exposure assessments.

The aim is to improve the information on the safe use of chemicals both in the registrants' REACH chemical safety report and in the extended safety data sheet communicated in the supply chain.
