Alchisor CAL 111 is thetrade name for decene, hydroformylation products, high boiling. As defined in the ‘Read-Across Justification Document’, data provided for the analogue substance Alchisor CAL 123 is representative of Alchisor CAL 111 and suitable for assessment purpose.
Study data for Alchisor CAL 123, where available, have been evaluated and considered for assessment. No environmental fate data are available for Alchisor CAL 111. As stated in section 5.2.1, reliable studies have shown that the analogue, Alchisor CAL 123, Alkenes, C11-12, hydroformylation products, distn. Residues and its constituent/constituent categories are all readily biodegradable in water. According to Annex IX Column 2 of Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 REACH concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals an absorption/desorption study does not need to be conducted if the substance and its relevant degradation products decompose rapidly.Information on Registered Substances comes from registration dossiers which have been assigned a registration number.
