Administrative data
First-aid measures
- Eyes contact: Take off contaminated clothing and wash with plenty of water.
- Skin contact: Wash with plenty of water.
- Ingestion: Do not vomit. Rinse mouse. Call a control poison centre or a medic
Seek medical advise if any sympthoms appear.
Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed: Appearance of red blotches and itching on skin.
Fire-fighting measures
Unsuitable extinguishing media: None
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: May produce toxic fumes of carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxides on combustion
Advice for fire-fighters: Using of self-contained breathing apparatus is recommended
Other information: Extinguish flames at a safe distance from the containers, by using fire hoses or extinguishers automatic systems with nozzles positioned at the top of the containers. Remove the containers from the fire area or keep containers cool. Damaged containers must be handled only by authorized trained personnel.
Accidental release measures
– For non-emergency personnel
Evacuate from affected area the personnel not involved in emergency intervention. Alert internal emergency personnel or fire-fighters.
If immediate action is necessary refer to the instructions / directions for emergency personnel.
– For emergency responders
Wear appropriate protective clothing and equipment consistent with the degree of hazard.
Stop leakage and eliminate all sources of ignition
Environmental precautions: Stop leakage and eliminate all sources of ignition
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Absorb with liquid-binding material (sand) and collect in a drum for destruction.
Handling and storage
Avoid formation and accumulation of electrostatic discharges.
Avoid breathing dust/fume/gas/mist/vapours/spray.
Wash thoroughly after handling.
Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product.
Contaminated work clothing should not be allowed out of the workplace.
Keep material in sealed properly labelled containers in a cool, well ventilated area
