Additional information

The acute toxicity of Condensation product of N-C12-C18-alkylpropane-1,3-diamine, N-(3 -aminopropyl)-N’-C12-C18-alkylpropane-1,3-diamine and formic acid was evaluated with rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) in a study performed in accordance with OECD testing guideline 203 and GLP requirements. The fish were exposed to nominal test concentrations between 42.7 to 1000 µg/L under semi-static conditions during 96h.

Based on the definitive test results, it can be concluded that Condensation product of N-C12-C18-alkylpropane-1,3-diamine, N-(3-

aminopropyl)-N’-C12-C18-alkylpropane-1,3-diamine and formic acid is very toxic to fish with EC50(96 h) of 168 µg/L and a NOEC of 117 µg/L (measured concentrations). Validity criteria were fulfilled.
