Description of key information

One reliable key study is available on the registered reaction mass and experimentally the value of the freezing point was determined as less than 20°C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The determination in the key study was carried out using a procedure according to Method A1 Melting/Freezing Temperature of Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008, Method 102 of the OECD Guidelines for Testing of Chemicals, 27 July 1995 and GLP. No deviation from the guidelines was observed during the test.

The freezing temperature of the test item has been determined to less than -20 °C (<253 K). In accordance with Column 2 adaptation statement of REACH Annex VII, Information requirement section 7.2, this study does not need to be conducted below a lower limit of -20 °C.
