Additional information

Examination of the structure of the registered substance indicates that there are no groups associated with explosive properties (Younis, 2014).The oxygen is not bound in energetic functional groups – it is bound in SO groups which do not possess explosive behaviour. The oxygen balance is -151 – above the criteria for consideration (-200). Based on this combination of factors, it is beyond reasonable doubt that the material will not exhibit explosive properties.

Therefore, negative results can be predicted and no testing for explosive properties has been carried out.

Justification for classification or non-classification

Based on this combination of factors listed above, it is beyond reasonable doubt that the material will not exhibit explosive properties. Therefore, the registered substance can not be classified as explosive.
