Conclusions:
Using the OECD Harmonized ring method (in accordance with EC A.5 and OECD 115 and in compliance with GLP), the surface tension of an aqueous test substance solution at 1 g/L was measured to be 65.2 mN/m at 20°C. Because the surface tension is not < 60 mN/m, the substance is not surface active.

Description of key information

Using the OECD Harmonized ring method (in

accordance with EC A.5 and OECD 115

and in compliance with GLP), the

surface tension of an aqueous

test substance solution at 1 g/L

was measured to be 65.2 mN/m at 20°C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Surface tension:
65.2
in mN/m at 20°C and concentration in mg/L:
1 000

Additional information

Because the surface tension is not < 60 mN/m, the substance is not surface active.
