Description of key information

In contact with water the substance will hydrolyse slowly at a pH of 4. The half-life of the test substance is greater 1 year at pH values of 7 and 9.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Half-life for hydrolysis:
2 665 h
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

In a hydrolysis study according to OECD guideline 111 the test substance was unstable at a pH of 4 and elevated temperatures (70 - 80 °C), resulting in half-lives 74 to 67 hours, respectively. At 25 °C the half-life at pH 4 was 2665 hours and > 1 year at pH values of 7 and 9.
