Additional information

A biodegradation in water screening study was performed to assess the registered substance. The biodegradation of the test material was studied in activated sludge (domestic). Under the test conditions the percentage biodegradation reached a mean of 3.3 % after 28 days based on the measured COD of the test item. The test item can therefore be considered to be not ready biodegradable. No further biodegradation studies were performed. The substance is neither manufactured nor imported into the EU in its monomeric form, therefore exposure of the monomeric substance to the environment is unlikely. In view of this exposure information further degradation testing on the monomeric substance is considered to be inappropriate.
