The inspection of the chemical structure and the experience in the handling and use of the substance have indicated no properties associated with flammability on contact with water or pyrophoricity.
In the flammability of solids test (preliminary test under GLP and according to Directive 92/69/EEC, Part. A.10) the substance shows brief ignition, rapid extinction and no spreading of fire.
Justification for classification or non-classification
The substance is not considered to be classified for flammability according to the criteria as described by Directive 67/548/EEC, and as amended by Directive 2001/59/EEC, Annex VI, 2.2.4.
The substance is not considered to be classified for flammability according to the criteria as described by Regulation (EC) 1272/2008, Annex I, Part 2, 2.7.
