Details on results:
The hydrolysis of D-8 in aqueous solutions was tested in accordance with OECD Guideline 111. The results of the preliminary test indicated in the guideline showed that the recovery of D-8 was more than 96 % after 5 days at 50 °C and pH 4, 7 and 9. Thus, it was concluded that D-8 is hydrolytically stable.

The recovery of D-8 under each condition in this experiment is summarized in the table.

The recoveries at any pH were more than 96 % for 5 days and more than 99 % at 5 days.

Therefore, it was concluded that D-8 is stable at 50 °C in acidic, neutral and basic solutions.
