Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

A summary of results for environmental fate and pathways endpoints of the test substance is as follows:

Hydrolysis: the substance is hydrolytically stable at pH 4, 7 and 9 at 25°C.

Biodegradation: the substance is not readily biodegradable. No further testing is deemed necessary.

Bioaccumulation: in view of the low log Pow the substance will have a low potential for bioaccumulation.

Adsorption/desorption: The Koc and log Koc values of substances were calculated using KOCWIN v2.00. The predicted Koc was determined to be 0.4376  and 4.751 based on the Kow method and MCI method, respectively. An assessment of the test item indicated that it would be ionized across the environmentally relevant pH range (pH 5 to 7).  Therefore, it is anticipated that adsorption to the organic carbon content of soils and sediments would not be the dominant mechanism controlling the mobility of the test item in the environment.
