PBT assessment: overall result

PBT status:
the substance is not PBT / vPvB
Justification:

Although ADONA is very persistent in the environment, it has clearly been shown to not be bioaccumulative in both screening (Kow) and definitive (OECD 305) laboratory studies. In addition, no acute or chronic toxicity has been observed in aquatic organisms at the highest concentrations tested (100 mg/l or higher). In studies of mammalian toxicity, ADONA was not classified as toxic to reproduction and was not classified as mutagenic or carcinogenic.
