The three series of measurements were performed in the temperature range 100 -400ºC. Below the temperature of 190ºC, the temperature gradient of 3°C/min was used. Above 190ºC the used gradient was 1°C/min (at about 10.0°C below the expected boiling temperature).

Conclusions:
The boiling point of D-alpha fenchol was observed at temperature of 201.1 ± 0.1°C.
Executive summary:

The boiling point of the test substance was determined according to the OECD 103 Guideline and EU A.2 Method (Method according to Siwoloboff). The study started at a temperature gradient of 3ºC/min up to 190ºC, about 10.0˚C below the expected boiling temperature, when the heating rate was reduced to 1ºC/min. The observed value of the boiling point of D-alpha fenchol was determined to be 201.1 ± 0.1ºC under atmospheric pressure of 1001 hPa.

Description of key information
