An ignition was observed at a temperature of 430 °C at a sample size of nine drops. Proceeding from this temperature, the lowest result in the main test run was found to be 410 °C. Two repeat tests were performed using fresh ignition vessels. The lowest result in each case was found to be 410 °C, too. Bearing in mind the significance of the ignition temperature for risk assessment, the result is not be reported as the mean, but as the lowest value, where no ignition occurs.

Conclusions:
Based on tests according to EC-Test Procedure A 15 (DIN 51794) the auto ignition temperature of the test item is specified as 405 °C (Currenta, 2009).
