Description of key information

The influence of Methyl 5 -(dimethylamino)-2 -methyl-5 -oxopentanoate (Rhodiasolv Polarclean) on soil microorganisms was determined according to the OECD Guideline 217 measuring the microbial CO2 evolved during short -term respiration experiments after glucose amendments.
Furthermore, its influence on the nitrification (mineralization) of lucerne meal in soil was investigated at the start of the test and at the end of the test, on day 28 according to the OECD test Guideline 216.
No biologically relevant influence of the test item on soil microflora activity was observed under the conditions for the tested treatments after 28 days of incubation.
