Phototransformation in air is not relevant due to low vapour pressure (< 0.0001 Pa).

Experimental results on phototransformation of Stearic acid, monoester with glycerol (CAS 31566-31-1) are not available. Calculated values for components of the substance using AOPWIN v1.92 indicate that the substance will be rapidly photodegraded by reaction with hydroxyl radicals (Gebhardt, 2013). The estimated half-lives of the components ranged from 6.8 hours to 11 hours. However, due to the low vapour pressure of the components (< 0.0001 Pa, SPARC v 4.5 calculation) the substance is not expected to exist in the vapour phase in the atmosphere.
