Additional information

Based on a calculation for the main components (Mayer, 2011) of Fatty acids, C6-18, triesters with trimethylolpropane (CAS 91050-88-3) using HENRYWIN v3.20, Henry's law constant of 0.0124 - 335 Pa m³/mol (Bond estimation) and 0.000667 - 168 Pa m³/mol (Group estimation) were calculated (Mayer, 2011). The rate of volatilization is low to moderate for the polyol esters based on their estimated Henry’s Law constants but due to its low vapour pressure of < 0.0001 Pa at 20°C, it is not expected that the substance will evaporate into the atmosphere from the water surface. The calculated values have a wide range and the values below 1 Pa m³/mol are more realistic for Fatty acids, C6-18, triesters with trimethylolpropane, because the majority of the polyol esters have negligible vapor pressur.
