Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The adsorption/desorption coefficient was estimated using the recommended QSAR model KOCWIN v2.00 via the MCI method and from experimental log Kow values resulting from a study conducted according to the OECD Test Guideline 117. In this partition coefficient study, log Kow values ranged from 1.09 to 2.61. The log Kow value used for the Koc calculation was 2.61 as a conservative approach.

The Koc values obtained were 621.8 L/kg (MCI method) and 141.8 L/kg (log Kow method). The value of 621.8 L/kg is selected for chemical safety assessment as a worst-case value. The corresponding log Koc is equal to 2.79.
