Description of key information

A no-observed effect loading rate of 100 mg/L was identified in an acute toxicity test in Daphnia magna.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

One short-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates study is available: a 48-hour study in the freshwater species Daphnia magna. The test used WAF loading rates of 0, 6.3, 13, 25, 50 and 100 mg test substance per litre. All daphnia appeared normal throughout the test, with no mortality/immobility or overt toxicity seen. The 48-hour no-observed effect loading rate and median effective loading rate of the test substance is therefore concluded to be 100 mg/L and >100 mg/L respectively.
