From the compositional description and the structural formula given, it can be seen that the substance is not pyrophoric there are no functional groups present that would cause concern. It is a relatively high molecular weight solid and its flash-point has been measured at 169°C and its vapour pressure was determined to be 5.85x10-4 at 20°C. Consequently, this substance should not be classified as dangerous according to the CLP regulation (criteria for evaluating flammability , which is furthermore confirmed by long term handling experience.
