- According to column 2 of REACH Annex IX, the study has only to beproposed if the chemical safety assessment according to Annex I indicates the need to investigate further the degradation of the substance and its degradation products. As the Chemical Safety Report does not indicate a risk for sediment (RCR < 0.01), a study is not proposed.A semilation test on biodegradation in soil is already available. Sediment is not considered as the relevant compartment for the degradation of the substance.
