Additional information

TCPP is a non volatile liquid substance for which accidental skin contact at occupational settings is the most likely route of exposure.

It is extensively studied for its repeated-dose toxicity and the available for this substance experimental data is adequate, relevant and reliable to perform the safety assessment of TCPP.

The following toxicity values were observed in studies in rodents:

·                   The NOAEL (oral, short-term, rat)= 100 mg/kg bw (effects on liver);

·                   The LOAEL = 52 mg/kg/day (males) based on effects on liver.
