Description of key information

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The toxicokinetics and metabolism of TCPP have been comprehensively reviewed and reported elsewhere (EU RAR, 2008).

Overall, TCPP may be absorbed via ingestion, dermal contact or inhalation and is distributed to all tissues, including liver, kidney, lung, fat, muscle, gonads, spleen, blood, heart and brain.

TCPP is almost completely metabolised and excreted in urine and faeces. It does not bioaccumulate.

Overall, the toxicokonetics data available for TCPP is well understood and sufficient to perform the safety assessment of this chemical.
