Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Cationic surfactants like Dimethyl alkylamines (DMAs) sorb strongly to negatively charged surfaces like glass or biota. In order to avoid sorption to the glass of the test vessel and on the test organism well characterized river was used as aquatic medium to allow relable test results. In the following the acute and chronic ecotoxictiy values in river water are given for all DMA category members to allow a direct comparison of the test results.
