Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

non explosive

Additional information

There are no chemical groups associated with explosive properties present in the molecule.

Additionally, an experimental measurement by DSC according to DIN 51007 showed the exothermic decomposition energy is less than 500 J/g and the onset of exothermic decomposition is below 500°C.

Justification for classification or non-classification

The explosive properties of substance were screened based on a specific rules as outline in the section R.7.1.11 of Guidance chapter R.7a of REACH Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006.

- There are no chemical groups associated with explosive properties present in the molecule.

- In addition, anexperimental determination by DSC on substance showed the exothermic decomposition energy is less than 500 J/g and the onset of exothermic decomposition is below 500°C.

It can be concluded that the substance is not to be considered having potential explosive properties. Thus it is not to be classified as an explosive material.
