Additional information

Short-term toxicity to fish

In the semi-static short-term toxicity to fish test according to OECD 203 (1992), the 96-hour LC50 of the test substance for Zebrafish (Danio rerio) was determined to be greater than 0.88 mg test item/L (value based on mean initial measured concentration).

Short-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates

In the semi-static immobilization test, young Daphnia magna STRAUSS (< 24 h old) were exposed to the test item for 48 hours according to OECD 202 (2004). The EC50 value was determined to be nominal 0.313 mg test item/L.

Toxicity to aquatic algae and cyanobacteria

The influence of the test substance on the growth of the freshwater algae Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata KORSHIKOV was assessed in a static dose response test according to OECD 201 (2006). The 72-hour ErC50 was determined to be 0.805 mg test item/L, the 72-hour NOErC was determined to be 0.351 mg test item/L and the associated 72 -hour EC10 was determined to be 0.435 mg test item/L. All values were based on geometric mean measured concentrations.

Toxicity to microorganisms

The toxic effects of the test substance on the oxygen consumption rate of aerobic micro-organisms (activated sludge) after short-term exposure of 180 min was determined according to OECD 209 (2010). The EC50 was determined to be 170 mg/L.
