Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Weight of evidence approach based on four peer-reviewed values from handbooks (0.03 hPa and 0.06 hPa at 25°C (two values) and 0.04 hPa at 20°C) and one estimated value using the US EPA EPI Suite software (0.06 hPa at 25°C) was used to indicate the vapour pressure of propylene carbonate.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
0.06 hPa
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

The values are close in range and hence the values can be considered as reliable. The values at 25°C are taken as the reference. nly one value however was selected to be used in the CSA. One supporting value (0.04 hPa at 20°C) is in conformity with the weight of evidence values.
