First-aid measures

Eyes: Immediately flush with plenty of warm water for at least 15 minutes whilst holding eye lids apart to ensure complete irrigation. Remove contact lenses, if worn. Obtain medical attention without delay.

Skin: Immediately wash skin with soap and plenty of water. Remove contaminated clothing. get medical attention if symptoms occur. Wash clothing before reuse.

Ingestion: If swallowed, do NOT induce vomiting. Give victim a glass of water or milk. Call a physician or poison control centre immeadiately. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. If not breathing, give artifical respiration or give oxygen by trained personnel. Seek immeadiate medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing media: Water spray, dry chemical, alcohol foam, carbon dioxide.

Fire fighting procedures: As in any fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus pressure-demand, (MSHA/NIOSH approved or equivalent) and full protective gear.

Accidental release measures

Small spill: Dike area to contain spill. Take precautions as necessary to prevent contamination of ground and surface waters. Recover spilled material on adsorbent, such as sawdust or floor dry, and sweep into enclosed containers for disposal. Do not flush to sewer. If area of spill is porous, remove as much contaminated earth and gravel, etc. as necessary and place in closed containers for disposal.

Handling and storage

Handling: Use in an efficient chemical fume hood or equivalent system with good ventilation. Avoid breathing dust, vapor, mist or gas. Avoid exposure to skin, eyes or clothing. Avoid ingestion or other exposure.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from sources of ignition or heat. Store in a tightly closed container.
