Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Partition coefficient:
29 428.7
Temp.:
25 °C
pH:
>= 7.03 - <= 7.57
Details on results:
Log P result the mean of triplicate samples (each analysed in duplicate).

Consistent low recoveries were obtained for both the n-Octanol stock solutions and individual layers. These are consistent with low recoveries obtained for check standards, indicating a possible weighing error associated with the calibration standard. However, as the partition calculations are based on the concentration ratios and not on absolute concentrations, the low recoveries are deemed insignificant and the reported result is considered valid.

Conclusions:
The Pow of the test material was determined to be 29428.7 (Log Pow 4.47), measured at 25°C, using the shake-flask method.

Description of key information

The shake flask method was applied for the determination of the partition coefficient (Pow) of the test substance.
