Description of key information

Data waived - Study scientifically not necessary / other information available. The study does not need to be conducted because there are no chemical groups present in the molecule which are associated with oxidising properties and hence, the classification procedure does not need to be applied. According to Column 2 of REACH Annex VII, determining the oxidising properties of nickel chloride is not necessary because it does not contain chemical groups associated with oxidising properties. Examples of such groups are nitrates, metal oxides, hypofluorites, difluoroaminopolynitroaryls, perchlorates, bromates and iodites.
