The vapour pressure was measured by comparative ebulliometry with mercury and water as the reference substances. The critical temperature was determined in the rapid heater, the temperature being measured with a platinum resistance thermometer and the automatic a.c. bridge used in the ebulliometric work. The vapour pressures between 2.8 and 202 kPa (with water as reference) were fitted by equation (temperature range 348 - 481 K). The vapour pressure at 298.15 K was extrapolated from the equation.
