The most stable form of sodium molybdate at ambient conditions, and the only form with market relevance is sodium molybdate dihydrate. Most of the information in this dossier therefore relates to the dihydrate form. Further information for the sake of completeness (no relevance for CSA): It is further known that at temperatures below 10°C sodium molybdate can become hygroscopic and then tends to form a decahydrate (W.F. Linke, J. A. Cooper, J. Phys. Chem.60 (1956) 1662/3).
