Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The melting range of the substance is determined to 127.5 to 129.6 °C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The melting range of the substance is derived from a weight-of-evidence approach of an experimental study and three secondary sources. The values derived from these sources fit together and differ only slightly. Whereas the experimental study and one of the secondary sources agreed in the statement of a melting range instead of a fix melting point both other sources state the lower respective the upper end of the melting range. The weight of evidence approach is therefore considered as valid. The experimental result is considered as the most valid source regarding secondary data about the substance like e.g. purity. The experimental study is therefore chosen as key value for the chemical safety assessment.
