Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Data waiving in accordance with REACH Annexes IX and X, 9.4, Column 2

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Data waiving in accordance with REACH Annexes IX and X, 9.4, Column 2: As the substance is ready biodegradable, not assumed to be highly adsorptive to soil (log Kow < 3, no other indications of high adsorption) and showed no aquatic toxicity (tested up to 100 mg/L), the substance was assigned to soil hazard category 1 according to the ITS described in ECHA Guidance R.7c. As the substance is not classified according to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008, no exposure assessment is performed as part of the chemical safety assessment laid down in REACH Article 14(4). No long and short-term toxicity testing are proposed by the registrant, because there is no need to investigate further the effects of the substance and/or degradation products on terrestrial organisms.
