Additional information

Due to the very low vapour pressure, only very small amounts of the long-chain alkyl methacrylate esters (C12 – C22) are expected to be released into the air.

However, after emission or evaporation of any amounts to air the product is expected to be rapidly degraded by photochemical processes.

In water, the long-chain alkyl methacrylate esters (C12 – C22) are readily biodegradable despite their extremely low water solubility.

Available data indicate, that the esters are not persistent in the environment.
