Justification:

PERSISTENCE ASSESSMENT

The registration substance is not readily or inherently biodegradable. (IUCLID Chapter 5.2.1). Therefore the 'vP' and the 'P' criteria of the vPvB / PBT Assessment is fulfilled.

 

BIOACCUMULATION ASSESSMENT

The registration substance has a measured Log Kow of -0,21 (see IUCLID Chapter 4.7).Therefore the 'B' and the 'vB' criteria for the vPvB / PBT Assessment is not fulfilled.

 

TOXICITY ASSESSMENT

In acute toxicity tests for the aquatic compartment on fish, daphnia, algae and microorganisms and chronic tests on daphnia and algae all effect concentrations are >1mg/L (see IUCLID Chapter 6.1).

The registration substance is not classified as carcinogen, mutagen or T, R48 or Xn, R48 and not classified as STOT RE category 1 or 2 according the criteria of DSD 67/548/EEC or CLP 1272/2008 and Amendments thereof.

The registration substance is classified as reprotoxic according the criteria of DSD 67/548/EEC or CLP 1272/2008 and Amendments thereof.

The ‘T’ criterion of the PBT assessment is fulfilled.

OVERALL ASSESSMENT

The substance is neither PBT nor vP/vB.
