Principles of method if other than guideline:
Self-ignition has been determined according to Grewer screening test; the test material is filled into a metallic basket of 8cm2 and is heated in air flow with heating rate 1K/min. At the same time, a second sample of reference inert material is tested for comparative temperature measurements.
Sample has been tested in mixture with inert material (Kieselgur) in order to be able to run the test until 400°C; this method also enlarges the surface of contact between sample and air and thus make conditions worst than usual.
Oven temperature is raised up to 400°C and temperature of sample and reference are recorded.

2 endothermic phenomena have been observed below 200°C corresponding to loss of water of di-hydrated oxalic acid and decomposition (water and CO2); no exothermic phenomenum has been observed up to 400°C in worst conditions.

Conclusions:
No self ignition occurs up to 400°C.
