Conclusions:
As tert.-Butylperoxy-2-ethylhexanoat is not stable under the conditions of a Koc test and due to its low water solubility, the log Koc value of tert.-Butylperoxy-2-ethylhexanoat was calculated using EUSES (v. 2.1). For tert.-Butylperoxy-2-ethylhexanoat the log Koc was estimated to be 3.5105, the respective Koc to be 3240 L/kg using Kow method (Sabljic and Güsten, 1995).
Executive summary:

The test method for determination of the adsorption coefficient (Koc) of a substance as described for liquid materials in Test Guideline C.19 of EC Regulation 440/2008 was replaced by a model calculation as is not stable under the conditions of a Koc test and due to its low water solubility. The log Koc value of tert. Butylperoxy-2-ethylhexanoat (TBPEH) was calculated using EUSES (v. 2.1). For tert.-Butylperoxy-2-ethylhexanoat the log Koc was estimated to be 3.5105, the respective Koc to be 3240 L/kg using Kow method (Sabljic and Güsten, 1995).
