Description of key information

In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex VIII, chapter 9.2.2.,1 the study does not need to be conducted if the substance is readily biodegradable. Moreover, a literature search indicates that the thioglycolate anion is not expected to undergo hydrolysis in the environment due to the lack of hydrolysable functional groups or due to lack of absorption in the environmental spectrum (>290 nm), i.e. no potential of direct photolysis.
