In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex X. information requirement 9.4 (effects on terrestrial organisms), these studies do not need to be conducted if direct and indirect exposure of the soil compartment is unlikely.Furthermore, the chemical safety assessment does not indicate a need for further investigation.

Description of key information

In accordance with section 9.4 of column 2 of REACH Annexes IX and X, the short and long term studies do not need to be conducted. Since MMT[EHTG] is readily biodegradable and no direct releases to soil from point sources are known, no significant exposure of the terrestrial compartment is expected.
