The biodegradation test was prolongued to 35 days and after this time showed a plateau of approximately 89 % degradation.
The study report gives that the reference compound after 14 days was degraded more than 90 % without giving the reference substance identity.

Additional information

Biodegradation was determined according to OECD method 301A and in a manometric test. In the OECD301 A test, 78 % and 80 % biodegradation was observed after 28 days, however, failing the 10-day window. Thus, the substance is regarded as not ready biodegradable under the stringent conditions of the OECD 301 A. However, the manometric test is a more realistic simulation and in this test 84% biodegradation was observed. Therefore, the substance can be considered as readily biodegradable.
