Executive summary:

The objective of this study was to experimentally determine the vapour presssure of the test substance at 20 ± 1°C using the spinning rotor gauge (SRG) method.

The mean measured background vapour pressure of the system by the SRG method was 1.57E-5 Pa at 20 ± 1°C. The mean measured vapour pressure of the reference substance, hexachlorobenzene, by the SRG method was 1.39E-3 Pa at 20 ± 1°C. This vapour pressure was consistent with published values. The mean measured vapour pressure of the test substance by the SRG method was 3.77E-2 Pa at 20 ± 1°C (N=3, CV=0.46%).
