Description of key information

Yttrium zirconium oxide is a stable inorganic metal oxide with the metals in their highest oxidation state, and therefore not sensitive to oxygen release. Moreover, experience in the day-to-day handling and use of the substance shows no oxidising potential. Therefore, the substance should not be considered as having oxidising properties.

no

Additional information

Justification for classification or non-classification

Yttrium zirconium oxide being a stable inorganic metal oxide is not sensitive to oxygen release. Experience in the day-to-day handling and use of the substance shows no oxidising potential. Consequently, the substance should not be classified as having oxidising properties.
