All of the data sources mentioned above report exactly the same autoflammability point of 304 °C. As far as it was possible to trace back, the original data source is ITII 1988. The two recognized databases NITE (Japan) and HSDB (USA) are themselves referring to ITII 1988, which possibly also applies to the two Klimisch-4 -rated data sources. Since ITII 1988 is peer reviewed and the databases of NITE and HSDB also are considered as recognized references, a reliability code of 2 is assigned to those three data sources, and in accordance to a weight of evidence approach a temperature of 304 °C is considered to be the auto ignition point of 1,2,3 -Trichloropropane.
