Additional information

In a guideline study for which full experimental details are available, the 72hr EC50 of 2-(2-(2-butoxyethoxy)ethoxy)ethanol in Selenastrum capricornutum was established to be 840mg/l based on growth rate inhibition. A NOEC of 100mg/l was established and the EC10 based on growth rate was 190mg/l.

In a study for which key experimental details are available, the 72hr EC50 of 2-(2-(2-butoxyethoxy)ethoxy)ethanol in Scenedesmus subspicatus was established to be >612.6mg/l, the maximum dose tested. A NOEC of 62.5mg/l was established and the EC10 based on growth rate was 612.6mg/l.
