Description of key information

Hydrolysis is not expected to be an important process in the fate of stearyl erucamide.

There is no study available on hydrolysis as a function of pH with the substance (Z) -N-Octadecyldocos-13-enamide (CAS No. 10094-45-8). In accordance with column 2 of Regulation (EC) 1907/2006 Annex VIII the testing is not required if the substance is highly insoluble in water (<0.05 mg/L). Hydrolysis is not expected to be an important process in the fate of (Z) -N-Octadecyldocos-13-enamide (CAS No. 10094-45-8).
