Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets

Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

These studies will not be conducted as direct and indirect exposure of the soil compartment is unlikely, except for the use (application) of plant protection products (PPPs) containing the substance as a co-formulant. However, the potential for environmental impacts associated with the use as a co-formulant are already inherently addressed as part of the registration procedure for plant protection products under Directive 91/414/EEC. Apart from using the test substance as a co-formulant in plant protection products, the compound is not supposed to be directly applied to soil and an indirect exposure to soil via sewage sludge transfer is unlikely since the substance is readily biodegradable. For a substance being considered as „readily biodegradable“, it can be assumed that it will be biodegraded within the STP process and as a consequence a transfer to the soil compartment is not expected. Additionally, due to its low log Pow an accumulation of the substance in terrestrial organisms is not expected. Therefore, no tests on terrestrial organisms are provided. Derivation of PNECsoil will be based an acute data from aquatic studies by using the equilibrium partitioning method.
